What is emergency live-in care?

Live-in care is an established service of healthcare provided by Superior Healthcare, to the elderly and vulnerable as the preferred alternative to care or nursing homes. A live-in care package involves sending one of our trained carers or nurses to live with your loved one so they can continue to stay living in the comfort of their own home.

Emergency live-in care is our response to the coronavirus, where we have extended our live-in care service to families who have elderly relatives and loved ones living by themselves, who are vulnerable during this time.

Live-in care is more than just assisting with their physical needs but also provides companionship and emotional support. It allows them to continue to stay safe at home during the pandemic, with personal, round the clock care and gives you the peace of mind that they are well looked after.

Superior Healthcare’s background and expertise has been in developing and delivering continuing healthcare care packages for people with complex health needs, to live safely at home. From brain injuries to motor neurone disease and stroke we are equipped to handle very complex health conditions and tailor each package to meet our client’s specific requirements. This means you can rely on us to deliver the care and support they need, however complex, during COVID-19. We are with you for life.

When you choose Superior Healthcare to provide live-in care for your parents or loved one, we will work with you and them to create a care package that is centred around their individual needs and circumstances:

• We will allocate a Care Manager and also a Lead Nurse, who together will oversee their care package.
• Before providing their care package, we will agree the plan for the support that we will provide including defining both your’s and your loved one’s goals and outcomes for the service – which we will use to review and measure the performance of our service.
• As well as introducing experienced support workers and/or nurses from our established team, we will recruit and train people to care for your loved one’s individual needs.
