How To Take a Covid-19 Home Test

All of our nurses and carers are being sent Covid-19 home testing kits. Each pack contains 4 tests, to be used one a week across the month. There are full instructions in each pack on how to use the test. Please take the time to read these carefully.

Testing at Home

Here’s everything you need to know about how and when to test.

  • All testing must only be conducted between Thursday and Sunday.
  • Test on the same day each week.
  • You must let us know if the result is positive. Please email or call your coordinator immediately.
  • You don’t need to let us know if the result is negative but please do show your negative result to the client when arriving on shift.
  • Your test needs to be posted using a Royal Mail Priority Post Box. Find your nearest Priority Post Box at https://www.royalmail.com/services-near-you#/.
  • Test kits must always be posted before the last collection time of your priority box, on the same day that the swab is conducted. Use the link above to check your priority box is in use on the day you test.
  • All tests must be registered using the organisation testing portal, with Superior Healthcare’s unique organisation number at https://organisations.test-for-coronavirus.service.gov.uk/register-organisation-tests

Our Unique Organisation Number (UON): 41044983
