Learn why agency registered nurses love working with Superior Healthcare.
Registered nurses with clinical or community care experience, whether from the NHS or the private sector, find working for Superior Healthcare highly rewarding.
Our agency nurses appreciate the flexibility to work around their personal commitments. With our comprehensive ongoing training and revalidation support, they’re well-equipped to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
Our agency registered nurses deliver personalised care that supports clients’ health and enhances their quality of life, following the directions of each client and their management teams.
If you find a care setting that resonates with you and you want to work there full-time, we’ll support you and the care service to make the process as seamless as possible.
Many members of our agency care team choose to stay with us due to our exceptional employee benefits, training, and career progression opportunities, which exceed those offered by traditional care settings and agencies.
Your day-to-day clinical responsibilities may include providing PEG, tracheostomy, and ventilator management, among other specialised care.
Beyond clinical duties, you’ll also play a key role in supporting your client’s emotional wellbeing, helping to plan activities, and assisting with their access to the wider community.
As part of the agency team, an Agency Registered Nurse may work alongside healthcare assistants and nurses directly employed by the care setting or collaborate with other Superior Healthcare team members.
Some nurses provide one-to-one support for individuals who need varying levels of care – some require nursing care to safely attend school or college for example.
Many of our agency team members join us seeking flexibility. When their circumstances change, we’re here to support them.
We help our agency registered nurses transition to our complex care team, where they can explore greater progression opportunities, such as becoming a Nurse Manager or a Clinical Educator to train our care and nursing teams.
We offer various career development opportunities to help you grow within and enjoy your role as a Registered Nurse at Superior Healthcare. If you possess ambition, skills, and commitment, we can provide the support and opportunities you need to reach your nursing career goals. Our benefits include:
Superior Healthcare was founded in 2006 by Stewart Thorp, his father Charles, and Sarah Richards after Stewart’s brother, Alex, sustained a traumatic brain injury and required 24-hour care.
When trying to organise at-home care for Alex, Stewart saw the need for a specialist provider that could fit into family life and continue Alex’s rehabilitation.
Superior Healthcare was formed to address this need. Since then, we have been providing support to individuals living with complex care needs.
