Agency Registered Nurse

Recruiting agency nurses

Superior Healthcare provides agency support to private hospitals, hospices, schools, colleges, and care settings across Sussex and Kent.

For nurses, we understand that flexibility is essential. Whether you’re looking for additional work to complement your primary role or seeking a flexible position that fits around your personal commitments, we’ve got you covered.

As an Agency Registered Nurse, you might be working in a supported nursing home, providing one-to-one support in a school, or working in a hospital setting. No matter the setting, we offer a variety of flexible work options to fit around your life.

What does an agency nurse do?

Our agency registered nurses deliver personalised care that supports clients’ health and enhances their quality of life, following the directions of each client and their management teams.

If you find a care setting that resonates with you and you want to work there full-time, we’ll support you and the care service to make the process as seamless as possible.

Many members of our agency care team choose to stay with us due to our exceptional employee benefits, training, and career progression opportunities, which exceed those offered by traditional care settings and agencies.

Extensive training

As a new member of our agency nursing team, you’ll receive specialist training from our clinical educators. This starts with a comprehensive induction, giving you the chance to refresh your skills and connect with other registered nurses.

Following your induction, you’ll have access to our free online training, which is regularly updated by our in-house clinical experts to keep up with industry developments. This training is an ongoing resource you can use at any time. You can also book yourself into our paid, in-person sessions, covering topics such as tracheostomy care, airway management, or enteral feeding.

Choose from our CPD-accredited courses to support your nurse revalidation, with feedback and reflections available from our nurse managers.

For us, it's personal

Superior Healthcare was founded in 2006 by Stewart Thorp, his father Charles, and Sarah Richards after Stewart’s brother, Alex, sustained a traumatic brain injury and required 24-hour care.

When trying to organise at-home care for Alex, Stewart saw the need for a specialist provider that could fit into family life and continue Alex’s rehabilitation.

Superior Healthcare was formed to address this need. Since then, we have been providing support to individuals living with complex care needs.
