Superior Healthcare is recruiting a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant in Bekesbourne to join our complex care team.

Your role

As a Care Assistant, you will become a key member of our complex care team, providing dedicated, long-term support to one or a small number of clients in Bekesbourne, Canterbury, Whitstable, and Thanet. Our Health Care Assistants work 12-hour shifts, focusing on the care of one client per shift.

You will benefit from a fixed rota with the option of overtime. We are ideally looking for people who are keen to work full-time hours however part-time roles are offered.

Responsibilities
Requirements
  • To provide support with personal care, epilepsy seizure management, and moving and positioning.
  • Assist with clinical interventions such as PEG feed and Gastrostomy medication administering.
  • To be an advocate for the client, working in their best interest and in accordance with Superior Healthcare's policies and procedures.
  • A minimum of 6 months recent UK care experience.
  • Full UK driving licence with access to a car.
  • To work a minimum of two 12-hour shifts per week.
  • Full right to work within the UK.
