Description

Are you a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse ready to make a difference in a child’s life?

We are seeking an empathetic Registered Nurse to provide dedicated, one-on-one care during nights.

If you have a passion for delivering life-changing care and expertise in complex medical support, this role presents a fulfilling opportunity for you!

About the Role:

As a Complex Care Registered Nurse, you will offer personalized, high-quality care that allows a child with specialized medical needs to attend school and reach critical milestones. Your responsibilities will include managing a Hickman line, administering medication, and overseeing PEG feeding.

Available Shift Patterns:

  • Regular Night Shifts Monday – Sunday – 21:00 – 06:00

We provide comprehensive support to a 14-month-old client with complex clinical needs. The child requires ongoing care for chronic lung issues, including ventilation and nebuliser treatments. They are managed with a tracheostomy, PEG for feeding, and receive milk feeds via gastrostomy. The care plan also includes managing seizures, administering medications, and providing personal care and moving/handling assistance to ensure their well-being and comfort.

Our client has a very cheeky and playful character, and loves constant attention, cuddles, and having someone by their side. They are highly sensory, enjoying touching and exploring new temperatures and textures. Their curious nature and vibrant personality make every moment with them a joy, as they engage with the world around them in their own special way.

Superior Healthcare is an equal opportunity employer. Employment is subject to an Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references. Please note, payment through limited companies is not available for this position.
