Are you a caring and experienced Registered Nurse in Sittingbourne looking to make a real difference in a child’s life?

We’re looking for a compassionate nurse to provide dedicated, one-to-one care for a wonderful child with complex healthcare needs during school hours, Monday to Thursday.

About the Role:

As a Complex Care Nurse, you will offer personalised, high-quality care that enables a child with medical needs to attend school, reach critical milestones and achieve their dreams.

Your responsibilities will include managing feeding via jejunostomy, ileostomy care, seizure management, and personal care, all while providing gentle, compassionate, and supportive care to the child.

We offer our nurses paid training, ongoing CPD, and support with Nurse Revalidation. You’ll also have access to clear progression pathways and the option to take on additional hours by supporting more than one client.

Available Shift Patterns:

  • 8am – 3pm Mondays & Thursdays
  • Start date: ASAP

Requirements
  • Work closely with the Nurse Manager Team to provide quality care to a paediatric client.
  • Commit to a regular working pattern and collaborate with Care Coordinators for effective care delivery.
  • Provide 1-2-1 support to a child with Complex Care needs.
  • Build rapport with clients and families, working within the family home to achieve individual goals.
  • Potential for growth and development into a supervisor or management role.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Commitment to 2 regular shifts per week.
  • UK driving license and access to own vehicle.
  • Clean and valid Registered Children's Nurse pin with at least 1 year post-registration experience.
  • Experience in delivering tracheostomy care, ventilation support and PEG care.
