Handpicked experienced care professionals

What makes us different

Our approach is rooted in resolving the challenges faced during Alex’s rehabilitation, which highlighted the need for a specialist local care provider capable of seamlessly fitting into family life while providing comprehensive clinical support.

We are used to working with families, like Alex’s, who have had to make significant adjustments to their home and lifestyle following a life-changing incident or diagnosis.

That’s why, at Superior Healthcare, we provide extensive support to our care and nursing team, including client-specific training from our in-house clinical educators, to ensure our clients and their care teams are set up for success.

We handpick experienced healthcare professionals who can assist our clients in getting the most out of life and continuing to do the things they enjoy.

Superior Healthcare was founded in 2006 by Stewart Thorp, his father Charles and Sarah Richards, in response to their experience of finding care for Stewart’s brother, Alex, who has a brain injury.

This is the story of Stewart, Charles and Alex in their own words.
