Nurse Supervisor – Complex Care
Location: Clients’ homes and schools
Hours: Flexible (Early mornings & evenings required)
Do you want to make a real difference while supporting and developing a high-performing team? We’re looking for a Nurse Supervisor to help shape the quality of care delivered across our complex care services in the community.
In this pivotal role, you’ll work closely with our Nurse Managers and Registered Manager to ensure employees are safe, competent, and confident in delivering person-centred care to clients with complex clinical needs.
Carry out on-shift supervisions and competency checks in clients’ homes and schools
Support clinical development and identify training needs within the team
Monitor and maintain infection control standards, including PPE supply
Escalate and address areas of poor practice, ensuring appropriate support and follow-up
Collaborate with the clinical and admin team to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation
Participate in CPD and industry events to maintain your own professional development
Get involved in our corporate social responsibility programme
Registered Nurse (NMC) with community nursing experience
Strong knowledge of complex care, including:
Tracheostomy care
Long-term ventilation
PEG/JEJ feeding
Cough assist and oxygen therapy
Experience training carers or nurses (desirable)
Supervisory or management experience (desirable)
Passion, leadership, and a commitment to high standards of care
This role requires flexibility — you may be needed from 06:00–09:00 or 18:00–22:00, depending on client needs. We’re looking for someone adaptable who thrives in a dynamic, community-based environment.
