Adult and Paediatric Tracheostomy Training is a one-day course that is tailored for community carers, support workers, and healthcare assistants seeking to expand their clinical skills in complex care, with a specific focus on tracheostomy management.
This free training is 9:30am-3:30pm, on the 21st of January, in Brighton.
The Adult and Paediatric Tracheostomy Awareness training course is ideal for those with limited prior experience in tracheostomy care.
Participants will gain essential knowledge and hands-on experience in caring for individuals with a tracheostomy in community settings.
Through simulated practice scenarios, learners on the Adult and Paediatric Tracheostomy Awareness training course will build confidence and competence in managing real-life situations safely and effectively.
All content is aligned with best practices and guidance from the National Tracheostomy Safety Project (UK), supporting improved care, enhanced patient safety, and better health outcomes.
