Complex Care Assistant
We are currently recruiting for Healthcare Support Workers to provide support on a 2:1 basis for a high energy 9 year old boy at his family home in Watford, outside of school hours.
Experience of special educational needs, autism, behaviours that challenge and epilepsy would be an advantage but training and ongoing support will also be available.

About the Role
Drivers Only
We are seeking experienced carers to support a 9-year-old child with a learning disability and complex epilepsy. This is a 2:1 support package due to epilepsy and the potential need for emergency medication.
Support includes close supervision, personal care (including continence support), and proactive behaviour support.
Applicants should ideally have experience with epilepsy management and rescue medication (e.g. buccal midazolam), and a strong understanding of behaviour support and child development. Carers must be calm, consistent, attentive, and confident in providing engaging, interactive support.
Requirements & Pay Information
Shifts
Monday to Sunday 9pm – 9am (Please note: this is for one waking night carer and one sleep night carer).

- Pay rates from Wake Night £15.40 – £17.60 per hour – Sleep In £9.24 – £10.56 per hour
- £250 joining bonus: Join before the 28th February, bonus paid once you’ve worked 100 hours.

Healthcare Assistant Requirements:
- Previous care experience involving personal care.
- A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.
- A minimum commitment of 2x shifts a week.
