Superior Healthcare was founded in 2006 by Stewart Thorp, his father Charles and Sarah Richards in response to their experience of caring for Stewart’s brother and Charles’ son, Alex, who has an acquired brain injury.

 

From their personal experience, Charles and Stewart identified the importance of a specialized care service that would bridge the gap between independent care providers and national organizations.

Superior Healthcare was founded to provide specialized services for people who have complex and long-term health needs as well as a comprehensive healthcare agency providing staffing solutions employing Healthcare Assistants, Support Workers and Registered Nurses across Kent and Sussex

As a Support Worker with the Agency, you’ll have the chance to work in over 100 care settings, including nursing and residential homes, supported living, and learning disability placements.

Responsibilities
Requirements
  • Support individuals with learning disabilities and autism
  • Work flexibly as a part of a team, adapting to the needs of the service users
  • Plan and facilitate activities such as arts and crafts, games, sensory experiences
  • Assist with daily living skills, including cooking, shopping, activities, while promoting independence.
  • Represent Superior Healthcare’s values of ‘Passion for Quality’, ‘One Family’, and ‘Inspiring Leadership
  • A valid driving licence.
  • Minimum six months care experience in UK
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in to communicate effectively with families and colleagues.
  • Ability to commit to minimum 2x12h shifts per week
