The Basic Life Support training course covers core topics including CPR, the recovery position, managing bleeding, choking, and shock.
Participants of the Basic Life Support training course will gain a solid understanding of first aid theory, followed by hands-on competency assessments to reinforce learning and build confidence in applying these life-saving techniques in real-world situations.
By the end of this training course, you'll be able to:
Put someone in the recovery position safely and confidently.
Understand what causes bleeding and how to control it quickly and safely.
Recognise the signs of shock and know how to respond.
Learn and practise CPR using the D.R.S.A.B.C. steps.
Respond to someone who is unconscious or has a head injury.
Act fast and effectively if someone is choking, with hands-on practice.
