What You’ll Learn in Safer People Handling Training

The Safer People Handling course emphasises the principles of safe moving and assisting, and the critical role of risk assessment in promoting a safe working environment.

Through practical demonstrations and discussion, participants will learn how to apply best practices in real-world care settings.

Who Can Benefit From Safer People Handling Training?

Safer People Handling Training is designed for registered nurses, senior carers, healthcare assistants, and support workers.

We deliver training to social service providers, schools, nursing homes, private hospitals, residential homes, and hospices. Additionally, our care and nursing teams receive this training when they join and as part of their annual refreshers.

Participants will gain the confidence and expertise to safely support clients with mobility needs while prioritising their safety, comfort and well-being.

All our training is CPD-accredited and can be used towards nurse revalidation requirements.
