Healthcare Support Worker – Complex Care

About the Role

Superior Healthcare is recruiting a Healthcare Support Worker to support a gentleman in his 30s with an acquired brain injury and epilepsy in his own home.

This is a rewarding role for a down‑to‑earth carer with a good sense of humour, who can build a positive and relaxed rapport with the client while supporting him to live safely and independently. The client has a great personality and enjoys working with carers who are friendly, approachable, and confident.


Key Responsibilities

  • Day‑to‑day personal and practical support within the home
  • Promoting independence, confidence, and social engagement
  • Supporting daily routines and activities
  • Providing reassurance and monitoring due to epilepsy
  • Building a positive, consistent, and respectful working relationship

Shift Pattern

  • Tuesdays
  • 10:30 – 18:30

Requirements

  • Driver essential
  • Previous experience in a care or support role preferred
  • Experience supporting individuals with acquired brain injury and/or epilepsy advantageous
  • A calm, friendly, and down‑to‑earth approach

Checks Required

  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Three years’ continuous referencing
