We’re currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Children’s Complex Care Assistants to join our growing team, supporting children with complex healthcare needs across the Brighton and Sussex area.

This is a rewarding opportunity to provide meaningful, one-to-one care that helps children and their families thrive at home. Whether you’re experienced in complex care or looking to further develop your clinical skills, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Children’s Complex Care Assistant, you’ll provide high-quality clinical and personal care tailored to each child’s individual needs. You’ll work closely with families and clinical teams to deliver safe, compassionate care in the home environment.

Client 2 – Lewes

A 1-year-old girl living with her mum in Lewes.

She is a happy, energetic little girl who loves swimming and getting out and about with her care team. She requires dedicated support both at home and in the community, helping to meet her complex clinical needs while encouraging her development and enjoyment of everyday activities.

Your Responsibilities

Depending on the client you support, duties may include:

  • Ventilator care and monitoring
  • BIPAP support and basic observations
  • PEG/J enteral feeding, including medications and flushes
  • Oral and nasal suctioning
  • Oxygen and nebuliser administration
  • Moving and handling
  • Medication administration
  • Personal care and daily living support

This role is ideal for someone calm, confident, and who thrives in a one-to-one environment where attention to detail truly changes lives.
