We’re Hiring: Registered Nurses – Join Our Sussex Complex Care Team!
Are you a Registered Nurse looking for a new opportunity or additional hours that offer purpose, continuity, and meaningful 1:1 care?
We are seeking compassionate, clinically confident Registered Nurses to join our dedicated team in Sussex, supporting paediatric clients with complex care needs across Bognor Regis, Horsham, Burgess Hill, Crawley and Worthing.
Although this role is based in the community, it remains very much a hands-on bedside nursing position, working closely with clients and their families to deliver safe, consistent, person-centred care.
This is a role for a skilled, confident nurse who will support and oversee Healthcare Assistant (HCA)–led packages. You will step in when the regular care team cannot fulfil their scheduled rota, ensuring continuity and maintaining high clinical standards for each client.
You will have the opportunity to:
Provide 1:1 bedside care that allows you to work closely with clients and families
Support several HCA-led packages, where skills-based matching ensures you are assigned only to clients whose clinical needs suit your experience
Receive each client’s care plan in advance, so you can prepare and feel confident before entering the home
Build long-term rapport with clients you may support regularly
Work with some clients less frequently, depending on their support needs and rota requirements
Step into nursing-led packages when recruitment needs arise within the organisation, offering opportunities for progression and more consistent work
This structure allows you to enjoy variety, choice, and professional development, while still providing the continuity and personal touch of 1:1 nursing.
Epilepsy management and administration of emergency medication (Buccal Midazolam)
BiPAP/CPAP (non-invasive ventilation)
PEG care and enteral feeding
Supporting clients with brain and spinal injuries
Safe manual handling techniques
Supporting clients with visual impairments and non-verbal communication
While you have flexibility, this is not traditional agency work. Shifts are not randomly assigned — they are matched based on skills and client familiarity.
We offer a range of Day, Night, and Twilight shifts within 24-hour care packages, ideal for nurses seeking part-time roles, regular patterns, or additional hours alongside existing commitments.
As you become familiar with particular packages, you may be booked regularly with the same clients, allowing for continuity of care and stronger relationships.
NMC registration
Knowledge of infection control
Experience working with paediatric clients with complex care needs
Apply now and join a team that values skilled bedside nursing, meaningful 1:1 care, and strong relationships with clients and their families.

We often find that registered nurses with a clinical or community care background, whether from the NHS or the private sector, enjoy working for Superior Healthcare.
This is because we give nurses a manageable workload and improved work-life balance so they can deliver a higher level of person-centred care when supporting one client per shift. We make sure nursing is rewarding and fulfilling – as it should be.
