Green heart  Registered Nurse – Paediatric Complex Care

Location: Margate
Pay Rate: ÂŁ27.00 per hour
Shifts: School Day 08:00 – 16:00

About the Role

Superior Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RCN/RGN) with a strong paediatric background to join our dedicated team supporting a young child with complex health needs in Margate.

About the Client

Age: Child

Lives with: Parents and younger siblings

Interests: Loves interacting and playing with nurses – energy and enthusiasm are a must!

  • Medical Needs:
    • PIPO
    • Fully TPN fed (nil by mouth)
    • Strict fluid balance monitoring and losses replacement
    • Hickman line care
    • Ileostomy and gastrostomy management
    • Autism diagnosis with challenging behaviour

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: Minimum 6 months in a nursing role, with significant paediatric experience. ITU, gastro, or TPN background highly advantageous.
  • Skills & Attributes:
    • Empathetic, fun, and energetic – able to keep up with an active, boisterous young boy
    • Excellent communication skills for efficient handovers
    • Ability to use initiative and remain calm under pressure

  • Work closely with the Nurse Manager Team to provide quality care to a paediatric client.
  • Commit to a regular working pattern and collaborate with Care Coordinators for effective care delivery.
  • Build rapport with clients and families, working within the family home to achieve individual goals.
  • Potential for growth and development into a supervisor or management role.
