Description
Superior Healthcare are recruiting for an epilepsy trained Healthcare Assistant to cover waking nights supporting a child.
This will be a fulfilling position to support a child who requires clinical and personal support and enjoys being read to and listening to music.
What you require
- Seizure Management: Recognising different types of seizures
- Emergency Medication: Administering prescribed emergency rescue medications (such as buccal midazolam) when trained and authorized by clinical leads
- Daily Support: Assisting with daily living activities like personal hygiene, mobility, and routine monitoring while collaborating with the wider team.
Shift Patterns:
- Waking Nights: 9:00pm – 7:00am
- Shifts available Tuesday, Friday and Saturday

Requirements:
- Previous healthcare/support work experience within a similar setting
- Experience supporting individuals with complex needs and epilepsy
- A clear Adult and Child DBS registered on the Update Service
- Compassionate, reliable and professional approach to care
