Paediatric Complex Care Assistant
Location: Canterbury, Kent
Pay Rate: £15.00 – £17.00 per hour
Shifts: Waking Nights (21:00 – 07:00)

About the role
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Paediatric Complex Care Assistant to support our 8-year-old client within their family home in Canterbury.
This rewarding role involves providing person-centred care and promoting our young client’s comfort, safety, and wellbeing throughout the night.
Your responsibilities will include:
Epilepsy and seizure management
PEG and enteral feeding
Medication administration
Supporting a child with severe learning difficulties
Personal care
Moving and handling
Supporting daily living activities
Monitoring and responding to changes in health and wellbeing
Shift Pattern
Waking Nights: 21:00 – 07:00
Week 1:
Saturday
Sunday
Week 2:
Friday
Sunday
This is a rolling two-week rota.
What we’re looking for
To be considered for this position, you will need:
A minimum of 6 months’ experience supporting children with complex care needs
Full Right to Work in the UK without the requirement for sponsorship
Confidence supporting clients with complex health conditions
A caring, reliable, and professional approach
Drivers are preferred but not essential.
