The Role:

We are seeking an empathetic Registered Nurse in Sandwich to provide dedicated, one-on-one care during nights. We have a vacancy for a part time nurse working 1-2 shifts per week.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate nurses to support a wonderful non-verbal girl aged between 10–16 years. She communicates her likes and dislikes through sounds, expressions, and movements, and she loves spending time with fun, bubbly characters who may come to feel like a part of the family. 

This role involves delivering high-quality clinical care, including administering continuous feeds and medication via jejunal route (PEGJ device), colostomy care, administering both prescribed and rescue medications, providing oxygen therapy, and monitoring vital signs and saturation levels, airway positioning, hypertonic saline and colomycin nebuliser, chest percussion, cough assist (training provided). 

You’ll also be required to perform deep naso and oropharyngeal suctioning (training will be provided), monitor and respond to seizure activity, and assist with safe moving and handling.

Shift Patterns:

  • Able to commit to 1 night per week which can be worked around the existing team to meet your needs and availability

Essential: NMC registration, knowledge of infection control, experience in paediatric or complex care.
