Description

Are you an experienced Registered Nurse in Canterbury who supports patients in the community with complex health needs? Are you fully experienced in providing tracheostomy care, ventilation and gastrostomy care?

If you’re looking for continuity in your community role, this opportunity is for you!

The Role:
Working as a Rapid Response Night Nurse within the complex care team at Superior Healthcare, you will clinically support our clients in their own homes when their regular team members are unable to provide support.
You will work with clients with a wide variety of life-limiting conditions, including conditions from birth, degenerative conditions, spinal injuries and brain injuries, as well as those requiring interventions such as ventilations, gastrostomy and bowel management.

You will need to have experience with both Adult and Paediatric Complex Care Clients.

Working Hours:
You will benefit from contracted hours working over a set 2-week rolling rota, consisting of 3 nights in Week 1 and 4 nights in Week 2. As well as directly supporting the clients, you may find yourself assisting with the training and induction of Healthcare Assistants or Nurses to provide greater support and contingency for the clients we support.
As a rapid response nurse, you’ll enjoy competitive rates with the opportunity to work overtime to increase your salary.
