Senior Nurse Opportunity in South East Kent
Are you an experienced Registered Nurse who enjoys providing dedicated, one-to-one care for clients with complex health needs in the community?
Are you confident in delivering tracheostomy care, ventilation and gastrostomy care?
If you’re seeking continuity, stability, and the opportunity to build relationships with the clients you support, this role is ideal for you.
As a Rapid Response Night Nurse with the Superior Healthcare complex care team, you will provide personal, 1:1 bedside nursing care to clients in their own homes. Although the role is community-based, it remains a hands-on clinical nursing position, centred around building trust, offering consistency, and delivering high-quality care to each client.
You will support clients when their regular nurse is unavailable, ensuring their routine, comfort, and safety are never disrupted. Your clients will present with a range of complex and life-limiting conditions, including congenital and degenerative conditions, spinal injuries, brain injuries, and needs requiring interventions such as ventilation, gastrostomy care, and bowel management.
You will work with both adult and paediatric clients, providing compassionate and reliable bedside care tailored to each individual’s needs.
To ensure you feel confident and supported in the role, you will be inducted into all clients within your area. This allows you to:
Build meaningful relationships with each client and their family
Understand their routines, preferences, and clinical needs
Deliver consistent, person-centred care when responding to their package
Step in confidently whenever required, ensuring continuity for the client
This approach enables you to become a familiar, trusted face across the client group you support.
You will work contracted hours on a fixed 2-week rolling rota:
Week 1: 3 shifts
Week 2: 4 shifts
This pattern repeats for the entire year, giving you complete clarity and stability over your schedule. You will always know exactly what you are working well in advance, unlike ad-hoc agency roles.
Alongside direct client care, you may also assist with the training and induction of Healthcare Assistants and Nurses, helping strengthen the support network for the clients in your area.
You will also benefit from competitive rates, with opportunities to pick up overtime if you wish to increase your earnings.
Apply now and become part of a dedicated team delivering exceptional 1:1 bedside nursing care within the community, with continuity, stability, and meaningful connections at the heart of your role.

We often find that registered nurses with a clinical or community care background, whether from the NHS or the private sector, enjoy working for Superior Healthcare.
This is because we give nurses a manageable workload and improved work-life balance so they can deliver a higher level of person-centred care when supporting one client per shift. We make sure nursing is rewarding and fulfilling – as it should be.
