As a Rapid Response Support Worker, you’ll benefit from a guaranteed hours contract, paying an enhanced salary of £30,674 to £36.808, paid mileage, and eventually a company car!

Your role is essential in ensuring the seamless care we provide to our clients across Sussex. As a valued member of our team, you’ll step in to support where needed—whether covering for staff absences due to sickness or holidays or working flexibly to assist our long-term clients with a variety of medical needs.

This role is ideal for an experienced Senior Support Worker or Care Assistant with expertise in complex care. What makes this position truly special is its variety—no two days are ever the same, keeping you engaged, challenged, and far from stuck in a routine.

We’ll set you up for success with specialist paid training delivered by our expert clinical educators. Your journey starts with a comprehensive five-day induction, equipping you with everything you need to thrive with Superior Healthcare.

Work Schedule:

  • Guaranteed Hours Contract
  • Option to choose between Days or Nights
  • On average 35 hours per week
  • Shifts are 6-12 hours long

Requirements
  • To provide complex care interventions including: PEG feeding, ventilator care, and oral/nasal suctioning.
  • To confidently manage client seizures, including administering emergency medication and VNS.
  • To provide personal care and emotional support.
  • To communicate with clients confidently and clearly.
  • To assist clients with moving and handling, including use of a hoist.
  • To follow every client's individual care plan, as advised by the Nurse Manager.
  • To follow safeguarding procedures accurately.
  • Minimum of 12 months experience in a UK care environment.
  • Must have experience supporting people with complex care needs.
  • Full, clean UK driving license.
