Complex Healthcare Assistant – Days
Location: Frant, East Sussex
Pay: £16.90 – £19.50 per hour
About the Role
Superior Healthcare is looking for an experienced Complex Healthcare Assistant to support a 12-year-old boy with complex health needs in Frant, East Sussex. This is a rewarding role where you’ll make a real difference in a child’s life.
What You’ll Do
- Provide safe, high-quality care and support.
- Clinical tasks include:
- Oral suctioning (cannot manage own secretions)
- PEG feeding and giving medication
- Nebuliser treatments
- Emergency airway management (oxygen use, spotting stridor, giving medications like Dexamethasone)
- Intermittent catheterisation
- Help with daily activities and create a nurturing environment.
About the Child
- Age: 12 years old
- Lives with: Family (carer also attends church with the family on Sundays)
- Interests: Loves music, dancing, and songs with Makaton. Enjoys stories, playing with toys, and learning to use his power chair and trike.
