Complex Healthcare Assistant – Days

Location: Frant, East Sussex
Pay: £16.90 – £19.50 per hour


About the Role

Superior Healthcare is looking for an experienced Complex Healthcare Assistant to support a 12-year-old boy with complex health needs in Frant, East Sussex. This is a rewarding role where you’ll make a real difference in a child’s life.


What You’ll Do

  • Provide safe, high-quality care and support.
  • Clinical tasks include:
    • Oral suctioning (cannot manage own secretions)
    • PEG feeding and giving medication
    • Nebuliser treatments
    • Emergency airway management (oxygen use, spotting stridor, giving medications like Dexamethasone)
    • Intermittent catheterisation
  • Help with daily activities and create a nurturing environment.

About the Child

  • Age: 12 years old
  • Lives with: Family (carer also attends church with the family on Sundays)
  • Interests: Loves music, dancing, and songs with Makaton. Enjoys stories, playing with toys, and learning to use his power chair and trike.
