Job Description

As a senior care coordinator, you will support the Operations Manager to ensure the coordination team work effectively in planning and rostering care staff into shifts and that the care workers and nurses that are responsible for delivering care and support on a day-to-day basis attend their shifts as planned. You will support the coordination team with any issues surrounding this.

About the role

• The senior care coordinator will organise rotas a month in advance for the complex care clients.

• Building and developing strong relationships with staff members (carers and nurses)

• Building and developing strong relationships with clients

• Line Manage the regional coordination team – Hampshire, Sussex and Essex, there will be some travel with this role.

• Communicate with staff and clients in a respectful, professional, and friendly manner.

• On call responsibility

You will have strong communication skills both over the phone and via written communication.
You will be a problem solver, quick thinker and solution driven.
You will have a minimum of 12 - 18mths care coordination in complex care or domiciliary care.
You will have experience of taking on additional responsibility, either as a senior team member, team leader or manager.
You will have the right to work in the UK and a full UK driving licence.
