Identify clinical indications for gastrostomy placement
Deliver safe and person-centred care to individuals with a gastrostomy or jejunostomy
Maintain stoma hygiene and follow infection control protocols
Recognise and respond to common PEG-related complications
Administer feeds via gastrostomy, including bolus, gravity, and pump methods
Understand the principles of medication administration through a G-tube
Confidently set up feed extension tubes for low-profile devices
Apply skills in a simulated practice environment to build clinical confidence
