We are currently recruiting a team of Care Assistants with experience in complex care, to support our client living in their family home, located in East Grinstead.

As a complex care assistant, you’ll play a vital role in our client’s daily life by administering medication, supporting with the clients PEG feed, performing oral suctioning, providing personal care, assisting with moving and handling, and much more. The ideal candidate will be someone who is proactive with a good sense of humour. Someone who remains calm under pressure and is committed to building a professional relationship.

 

Shift patterns

We currently have:

Tuesday and Wednesday wake night shifts available. These shifts will begin at 22:00pm and end at 09:00am.

Saturday wake nights available. This shift will begin at 22:00pm and end at 07:00am.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoon to evening shifts available. These shifts will begin at 16:00pm and end at 22:00pm.

Saturday and Sunday day shifts available. These things begin at 10:00am and end at 19:00pm.

If you have additional availability, and would be happy to travel to different locations, we have other packages in the local area which can be discussed.

Requirements

  • 6 months professional care experience in the UK based in a healthcare setting.
  • Previous experience working with complex care clients.
  • Confident working with children, with the ability to make shifts fun and engaging!
  • Someone comfortable being around cats and dogs.
  • A full UK drivers licence with access to your own vehicle.
