Company Overview: Superior Healthcare, a reputable healthcare agency, is seeking dedicated Health Care Assistants and Support Workers to become part of our dynamic team. With over 100 care settings, including nursing and residential care homes, supported living houses, and learning disability placements in Gillingham and the surrounding areas, we offer a diverse and rewarding work experience.

Key Responsibilities: As a Health Care Assistant or Support Worker with Superior Healthcare, you will:

  • Provide exceptional personal care and support to clients
  • Adhere to care plans and risk assessments to meet clients’ unique needs
  • Assist in the administration of medication
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
  • Establish effective communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 6 months of paid experience as a carer or support worker in the UK
  • Availability to commit to a minimum of 24 hours of work per week
  • Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • NVQ3 in Health and Social Care
  • Experience in providing medications.

Preferred Qualifications (but not essential):

  • Previous experience in care homes with older individuals
  • Previous experience working with persons with dementia
