The Role

Superior Healthcare is seeking a Children’s Complex Care Support Worker to join our dedicated team supporting a vibrant 6‑year‑old boy living in Leeds, Maidstone.

This is a night shift role offering £15–£17 per hour

About Our Client

Our client is a bright, energetic child who:

  • Loves cars, his cats and chickens
  • Enjoys rainbow colours and music of all genres
  • Values being listened to and understood

He lives with his mum and has complex medical needs, including:

  • Gastroschisis
  • Ketone hypoglycaemia
  • Growth Hormone Deficiency

Clinical support requirements include:

  • PEG
  • Hickman Line
  • TPN
  • Medications

Responsibilities

As part of this care team, you will:

  • Administer PEG medication
  • Support awareness of PTSD and emotional wellbeing
  • Manage TPN (training can be provided)
  • Recognise signs of deterioration and respond appropriately
  • Respect the clients preferences
  • Be patient, chatty, and understanding of his needs

Candidate Preferences

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Female
  • Clear communicator
  • Experienced in PEG and Paediatric care
  • A driver
  • Chatty, empathetic, and willing to learn about his conditions

Requirements

  • PEG and Paediatric experience
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Three years’ continuous referencing
  • Driving licence
