Description
Children’s Support Worker – Hertfordshire
Location: Hertfordshire
Salary: £14.30 – £16.50 per hour
Shift pattern: Weekend day shifts availableÂ
Looking for a role where getting to know someone is just as important as completing the tasks on their care plan? Superior Healthcare is recruiting a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Children’s Support Worker in Hertfordshire, paying £14.30 – £16.50 per hour, to support our 4-year-old client.
As a Children’s Support Worker, you’ll provide specialist one-to-one support to children with complex healthcare needs, building meaningful relationships with both your client and their family. This is an opportunity to deliver truly personalised care while working as part of a supportive and experienced clinical team.
Job description
You’ll follow an individual care plan and work closely with colleagues, families and professionals where appropriate. You’ll receive an induction and any role-specific training needed, with ongoing guidance available from Superior Healthcare’s wider care and clinical teams.
To be successful in this role, you’ll have experience supporting children with complex healthcare needs and be confident with PEG and/or Mickey Button feeding and medication administration. Our client loves arts and crafts and princesses – a fun, outgoing Support Worker who will sing along to Disney movies would be a great fit!
Most importantly, you’ll bring a caring, professional approach and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.
For someone who wants to develop, the role can also provide a pathway into more specialist support and complex care.
Shifts
Saturday and Sunday: 8am – 8pmÂ
