About the Role
Superior Healthcare is seeking experienced Complex Healthcare Assistants to join our team and provide exceptional care for a 29-year-old male client living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by supporting someone to live a fulfilled and independent life while managing their complex health needs.
Client Profile
- Age: 29
- Condition: Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy
- Clinical Needs:
- Tracheostomy care
- Ventilation management
- PEG/J enteral feeding
- Bowel management
- Bipap
- Medication administration
- Oral suctioning
- Interests: Lego, Formula 1, nature walks, cinema, coffee shops, and TV series (currently watching Breaking Bad).
- Home Environment: No pets at the property.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Previous experience in complex care is essential.
- Driving: Must hold a full, clean driving licence.
- Checks: Enhanced child & adult DBS and three years of referencing required.
- Personal Fit: Candidates who share similar interests or are willing to engage with the client’s hobbies are highly desirable.
