Complex Care Assistants Crawley
We are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Complex Care Assistants to support our clients in Crawley with highly complex care needs in their own homes.
About the Role
You will be providing one-to-one care for non-verbal clients living with:
- Epilepsy
- Gastrostomy (PEG) in situ
- Severe learning difficulties
- Bilateral profound deafness
This is a highly rewarding role where you will play a vital part in maintaining dignity, safety, comfort, and quality of life for individuals with complex health needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering safe, person-centered care tailored to individual needs
- Supporting clients with epilepsy management and seizure protocols
- Providing gastrostomy feeding and care (refresher training provided)
- Using non-verbal communication methods and sensory awareness
- Assisting with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities
- Monitoring and reporting changes in health or behavior
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary care team

- Experience in complex care
- Confidence working with non-verbal individuals and profound disabilities
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
- Willingness to learn specialist clinical skills
- Reliability, professionalism, and excellent communication skills
- Right to work in the UK

Payrate: £14.30-£17.60/ hour

- To show the client dignity and respect at all times.
- To regularly refer to and follow care plans written by the Nurse Manager to ensure exceptional person-centred care is provided.
- To be an advocate for the client, working in their best interest and in accordance with Superior Healthcare's policies and procedures
- To closely observe and monitor the client and keep thorough documentation.
