Care Assistant – Early Mornings

At Superior Healthcare, we’re seeking compassionate Care Assistants to join an established care team supporting a 18-year old young man living in Polegate, just a 20-minute walk from the train station.

Flexible Shifts to Suit You

We are particularly looking for carers who can support with:

⭐ Morning Shifts: 06:00 – 08:30

There are also a variety of additional shifts available for those looking for more hours, including:

• Afternoon/Evening Shifts: 16:00 – 22:00
• Weekend Shifts: 08:00 – 20:00
• Half-Term Cover (Monday-Friday): 06:00 – 22:00

We understand that flexibility matters. Whether you’re looking for a few morning shifts each week or a mixture of shifts across the week, we’ll work with you to create a rota that suits your availability.

About the Role

We’re looking for a caring and enthusiastic Care Assistant to support an 18-year-old young man living with his family in Polegate.

This young man has a great sense of humour, is a joy to work with, and enjoys getting out and about in the community. You’ll have the opportunity to support him on days out and community activities using his wheelchair, helping him live life to the fullest while building a meaningful relationship with him and his family.

At Superior Healthcare, we support children, young people, and adults with complex health needs to live safely, independently, and happily at home.

This is a 2:1 support package, meaning you’ll always be working alongside another member of the care team and will be fully supported by experienced colleagues. You’ll be joining an established, friendly team who know him well and are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

You’ll support with:

🔹 Seizure management
🔹 Manual handling
🔹 Medication administration
🔹 Personal care and daily living support
🔹 Community access and social activities

What You’ll Need

• Previous care experience involving personal care
• A caring, reliable, and compassionate approach
• Confidence supporting people in their own homes
• UK-based applicants only (we cannot offer visa sponsorship)
• Full UK driving license is preferred
