Healthcare Support Workers Required | Hoo, Near Rochester | Immediate Start Available 

Are you an experienced Healthcare Support Worker looking for your next rewarding role?

We are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate support staff to work with a young adult with communication and learning difficulties in Hoo, near Rochester.

✅ Immediate start available
✅ 5 days paid training provided
✅ Day and Waking Night shifts available

Shift Patterns:

  • Day Shifts: 7:00am – 7:00pm
  • Waking Nights: 7:00pm – 7:00am
  • Shifts available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday

The Role: You will be providing person-centred support to a young adult with:

  • Severe epilepsy
  • Communication difficulties
  • Learning disabilities

Your duties will include:

  • Supporting with nutrition and feeding, including occasional PEG feeding
  • Personal care and dressing
  • Mobility support
  • Medication administration
  • Promoting meaningful activities and rehabilitation
  • Providing emotional support and encouraging independence wherever possible

Requirements:

  • Previous healthcare/support work experience within a similar setting
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex needs and epilepsy
  • A clear Adult and Child DBS registered on the Update Service
  • Compassionate, reliable and professional approach to care
