Personal Assistant / Support Worker

Byfleet, Surrey
Supporting a lively, energetic 3-year-old

Shifts:

Day – Monday and Friday – 07:00 – 19:00

Nights – Monday to Sunday – 19:00 – 07:00

Are you a nursery worker or experienced child care assistant who loves being active, playful and always one step ahead? We’re looking for a caring, energetic person to support a bright, adventurous 3-year-old boy who is full of curiosity and always on the move.

He’s bright, adventurous, and full of enthusiasm – always keen to explore his surroundings and try new things. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in an active, hands-on environment, enjoys imaginative play, and can stay alert and responsive when caring for a child who is always on the go.

He has Autism, may display some challenging behaviours, and is fed via a PEG tube. You don’t need prior experience with PEG care – full paid training and ongoing support will be provided. What really matters is your ability to engage him through play, anticipate risks, and help him stay safe while having fun and building independence.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with energetic children, thinking quickly, and bringing fun and structure to each day.

What we offer:

  • Paid training (including Autism and PEG care)

  • Fixed rota with ongoing support

  • Holiday pay, pension and Blue Light Card

You’ll need:

  • Experience working with young children

  • A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle

  • To be UK-based (no visa sponsorship)

If you’re warm, playful and ready to keep up with a little explorer, we’d love to hear from you.

  • To show the client dignity and respect at all times.
  • To regularly refer to and follow care plans written by the Nurse Manager to ensure exceptional person-centred care is provided.
  • To be an advocate for the client, working in their best interest and in accordance with Superior Healthcare's policies and procedures.
  • To be fun, friendly and engaging with the client around their interests and hobbies.
  • To closely observe and monitor the client and keep thorough documentation.
