Description

Superior Healthcare is recruiting experienced Senior Community Healthcare Support Workers to support paediatric clients across Mid and West Kent. This is a rewarding night‑shift role working with children who have complex clinical needs within their family homes.

The Role

You will be supporting paediatric clients living with a range of complex healthcare needs, including:

  • Tracheostomy care
  • Ventilation support
  • Seizure management

Your role will focus on ensuring each child is safe, comfortable, and supported to live a fulfilled and happy life while maintaining the highest standards of clinical care.

  • Location: Mid and West Kent

  • Personality & Interests:
    Our clients are active, bubbly, and inquisitive, with interests including:

    • Cars and dinosaurs
    • Animals and pets
    • Outdoor activities, such as feeding chickens

What We’re Looking For

  • Female applicants only (this is a genuine occupational requirement based on client preferences)
  • A energetic personality and strong initiative
  • Clear and confident communication skills
  • Ability to work calmly and professionally in the family home environment

Essential Experience

  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Tracheostomy care
    • Ventilation support
    • Seizure management

Driving Requirement

  • Must be aged 25 or over
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Confident driving a wheelchair-accessible vehicle

Shifts & Pay

  • Night shifts only
  • 4 shifts on / 4 shifts off rolling rota
  • Hourly rate: £17.25 – £19.55

Pre-Employment Checks

  • Enhanced DBS check
  • 3 years’ continuous referencing
