We’re recruiting dedicated and reliable Complex Care Support Workers to join a small team supporting a gentleman with an acquired brain injury in his own home.
This is a one-to-one support role, giving you the time and opportunity to provide meaningful, person-centred care while helping someone live life on their own terms.
Meet the Client
Our client is sociable and enjoys spending time with people who share his sense of humour. He loves getting out and about for walks, regardless of the weather, and enjoys relaxing with films and TV series. Board games, online gaming, and a good laugh are all part of his daily life, making this a rewarding role for someone who enjoys building positive relationships.
What You’ll Be Doing
As part of his support team, you’ll help promote independence, wellbeing, and quality of life while delivering high-quality care tailored to his individual needs.
Your role may include:
- Providing personal care and daily living support
- Supporting community access and social activities
- Assisting with clinical and complex care requirements
- Encouraging independence and engagement in hobbies and interests
- Building a positive and trusting relationship with the client
Shift Information
- Location: New Romney
- Day Shifts: 8 hours
- Night Shifts: 12 hours
- Support: One client per shift
- Rota: Regular set shifts with additional overtime opportunities available
Traing includes:
- Care Certificate Standards
- Moving and Handling
- Medication Administration
- Gastrostomy Care
- Tracheostomy Care
- Additional specialist complex care competencies
